Technology has affected the various ways that we communicate, educate ourselves, work, be entertained, etc. From the comfort of our own homes, we are no able to make a living, attend educational courses, shop, watch movies and download music, and even communicate with individuals miles and miles away. The world is now at a fast-moving pace with everything we need literally at the palm of our hands. The Internet holds a major influence over the ways that we live and function, which varies all around the world. The question that many are asking, however, is whether or not this influence is positive or negative. Would we as an emerging technological society be able to function without the Internet and modern gadgets? Do people all around the world utilize technology as much as we do?
